10th Edition of Tamil Nadu International Balloon festival (TNIBF) is organized with support of the Department of Tourism Tamil Nadu scheduled from 10 - 19 Jan 2025 at Chennai , Pollachi & Madurai - Tamil Nadu. During this 10 days festival, Hot Air Balloons from various Countries will be flown , At this tenth edition of TNIBF you will find all different types of Hot Air Balloon from 8+ Countries, all beautiful and unique Shapes and colors.

What is Tethered Balloon Ride?

A tethered hot air balloon ride is an experience where a hot air balloon is anchored to the ground by a set of ropes or tethers, preventing it from ascending freely into the sky. Passengers can board the balloon, and it will ascend to a certain height, typically a few feet, depending on the specific setup and safety regulations.

Tethered Balloon Rides : The balloon is tied to the ground with ropes so that it doesn't fly away. It takes people on a short up-and-down trip, just a little above the ground, around 60-80 feet high, for a few minutes. Just right for a speedy photo opportunity!
